I trained as a mechanical engineer. Then I spent 18 years in global HR roles at Novartis and GSK in the US, Europe, and Asia. My experience spans R&D and Commercial HR Head and Talent CoE roles.
Along the way, I've led transformations and mergers and acquisitions, led AI strategy and enablement, and worked alongside seasoned C-suite leaders and CHROs.
A life long learner. Earned my Master of Science in Human Capital and Analytics from New York University. I did this before AI for HR was a trend on anyone's feed.
Here's what I believe.
HR has to lead AI transformation. I watched this happen far too many times: technology deployed faster than people could absorb it, HR called in after to manage the fallout. Today, HR holds the key to unlock the power of AI through People, Culture and Talent Practices (Microsoft Work Index 2026).
Workflows drive the real AI shift. The actual sequence of how work gets done. Most AI-for-HR content never gets past the tool use.
Build it before you teach it. My belief is we need more AI practitioners and builders in HR. You can't drive responsible adoption of AI unless you have a strong understanding of how AI works. I lead AI hackathons for HR teams and enjoy vibe coding AI apps for HR use. I built vigil.hr, an AI governance tool for HR teams navigating the EU AI Act, as a SHE Builds Season 3 alum.
I enjoy writing about AI on LinkedIn, to almost 6,000 HR and business leaders. Connect with me →
